Waste Reduction combats wild plastic waste through plastic compensation

Every plastic product with this label makes nature a little more plastic-free.

Since founding our publishing house, we have thought about how we can produce, store and ship our books and all other products in the most environmentally friendly way possible. There is still no real alternative to PE film, especially for books and cards. It is thin, elastic and transparent so that the customer can see the product and it protects the goods from moisture and dirt.

Thanks to the networking activities of nice eV, we recently met the founding duo of Waste - Reduction and are enthusiastic about their work. They start where we are at a loss. Since there is no real alternative yet, the first approach is to either sensibly recycle the plastic used and/or collect the plastic from our environment. So we can't yet do without plastic around our products - but: Plastic compensation here means that for plastic purchased with this label, nature is freed from the same amount of wild plastic waste. In addition, children are inspired to protect the environment in order to reduce the amount of rubbish lying around in Germany.

And then we hope that in the near future there will be real, sensible alternatives that protect our products but do not harm the environment.
