After studying art therapy, she lived in South America for three years with her husband and two small children.
Living there with the indigenous population allowed her to intensively experience the mysticism and connection between humans and nature. These years had a strong influence on her artistic development.
Today she satisfies her love of nature with long walks through forests or by the sea, and the impressions she gathers there later flow into drawings, watercolors or large-format pictures.
She lives with her husband in Bad Wimpfen and has an open studio in the middle of the historic old town.
Her first children's book illustration "Trüfinn - or how the little pig got its pink color" was in 2005. The book is unfortunately out of print.
He had the idea for the Quasselkopp jellyfish with his wife over breakfast in Tuscany after a cheeky little fire jellyfish had hugged his wife the day before.
Like many other children's book heroes, Quasselkopp is not an animal that subscribes to the cuddle factor - on the contrary: it took the little fire jellyfish a long time to find friends.
She is curious, critical and very environmentally conscious. In her element - the world's oceans - she tries to draw attention to many problems and find solutions.
Quasselkopp wants to share with the children who read these books the love and feeling of connection with the nature that surrounds us...
If there's one person who can't be missing from the Wolf Pack, it's Alice.
With her eye for the unusual, with her sense of the emotionally strong and unconditional honesty, she helps us to write our stories for the children in a tactile and honest way and not to think too much in an “adult” way.
Alice takes care of ensuring the website always looks good, marketing and communication.
Felix is our man for the environment and nature.
Microplastics is his special topic and with all questions about the climate, the sea and the implementation of the books, as climate-neutral as possible, nothing works without him.
Eric Pfeiffer
Eric not only ensures that everything runs smoothly during the production of our books, but also that everyone is in a good mood at the morning meeting.
He never loses track of things and stays cool even under the greatest stress.
His great love is the sea.
